Hi Macbruin, thanks for your blog on ClearOS. I am facing an issue and was hoping you may be able to help me out?
Here is the situation. Years ago I installed ClearOS with LVM; I installed the OS on one small disc, and the flexshares and home directories on 2 larger HD’s in RAID1. Due to an issue with the OS I had to do a fresh install on that small disc. Can I somehow retrieve the original flexshares and home directory?
Would be really great if you can point me in the right direction.
Are you having problems seeing the old data? Is your raid1 volume up and running in your new OS install? If not, fix that first. Google can give you many hints on manually assembling software raid and setting mdadm to assemble it automatically on the next boot.
